Connect Grok
Add UniFeeds as a custom connector in Grok, or ask Grok Bot to add it.
Before you start
- Grok on grok.com or in the Grok app. Some accounts need a paid plan, such as SuperGrok, for custom connectors.
- On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin adds UniFeeds first. Members then connect with their own sign-in.
- We haven't seen custom connectors in Grok inside the X app.
- At least one social account connected on the Connections page in UniFeeds, so the AI has somewhere to post.
Connect
Open Connectors
Go to grok.com/connectors. It may open on the Connectors tab of Plugins.
Add a custom connector
Select New Connector (or New, then Connector) and choose Custom. Name it UniFeeds and paste this URL.
https://mcp.unifeeds.io/mcpLet Grok register itself
Leave the client ID, client secret, and scopes empty, then select Add Connector.
Sign in to UniFeeds
A window opens. Sign in to UniFeeds, pick your workspace, and click Allow. Keep the window open until you're done.
Use it in a chat
In a new chat, type @UniFeeds to pick the connector, then ask your question.
Other ways to set it up
Grok Bot
Grok Bot has no settings form for servers. Ask it in chat to add a custom server.
Ask Grok Bot to add UniFeeds
Open Grok Bot and send this message.
Add a custom MCP server called UniFeeds at https://mcp.unifeeds.io/mcpConfirm and sign in
Check the name and URL Grok Bot shows and confirm. Then select Authorize, sign in to UniFeeds, pick your workspace, and click Allow. The UniFeeds sign-in page may not name the app, and Grok Bot shows up as Cursor under Connected apps in UniFeeds.
Attach it to a task
Type @ in a chat and pick UniFeeds. It works for every bot on your account.
Grok Business and Enterprise admins
Add UniFeeds once for your team. You need Team Read-Write permission.
Open team connectors
Sign in to the xAI console, pick your team, and open Grok Business, then Connectors.
Add UniFeeds
Select + Add Connector, choose Other, and paste this URL.
https://mcp.unifeeds.io/mcpTell your team
Each person opens grok.com/connectors and connects UniFeeds with their own sign-in.
Check it works
Start a new chat and ask:
Use the UniFeeds whoami tool and tell me which workspace you're connected to and whether you can make changes.Grok should name your UniFeeds workspace and say whether it can make changes. If it picked the wrong workspace or can only read, reconnect and choose again. With an API key, use a read and write key made in the right workspace.
Manage the connection
To stop using it, don't pick @UniFeeds in your chats. To remove it, open grok.com/connectors and remove UniFeeds. In Grok Bot, remove it from your plugins or ask the bot to remove it.
To cut the app off from UniFeeds' side, open Connected apps on the API keys page and select Disconnect. Workspace members can disconnect their own apps; admins can disconnect any.
Troubleshooting
Custom connectors may need a paid Grok plan. On Business and Enterprise, ask a team admin to add UniFeeds in the xAI console.
The sign-in window was probably closed too early. Select Cancel, add the connector again with the URL above, and keep the window open until you click Allow.
Open Plugins, open UniFeeds, and select Authorize. On the iPhone app, switch back to Grok yourself after you click Allow.
That's expected. Grok Bot signs in through Cursor, so UniFeeds lists it as Cursor under Connected apps and the Grok tab isn't marked connected. Don't disconnect it unless you want Grok Bot to stop.
Grok signs in with UniFeeds. Leave the key out and follow the steps above.
Type @UniFeeds in your message so Grok uses the connector.
Sign-in and workspace problems that happen in every app are on the Troubleshooting page. Still stuck? Email support@unifeeds.io.
