Connect ChatGPT

Add UniFeeds as an MCP app in ChatGPT, then sign in.

Before you start

  • A paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu), used on chatgpt.com in a browser. The mobile app can't add custom apps.
  • Some plans only let custom apps read. On those, ChatGPT won't schedule, publish, or delete posts.
  • In Business workspaces, only admins can add apps. In Enterprise and Edu, an admin allows custom apps for your role.
  • At least one social account connected on the Connections page in UniFeeds, so the AI has somewhere to post.

Connect

Open ChatGPT Plugins

Open ChatGPT Plugins, select Add, then Create MCP App. If you only see Create plugin and Upload plugin, see the fix below.

Open ChatGPT Plugins

Add UniFeeds

Name it UniFeeds and paste this URL as the server.

MCP server URL
https://mcp.unifeeds.io/mcp

Choose OAuth

Choose OAuth for authentication and leave the client ID and secret empty. If ChatGPT asks how it should register, choose dynamic registration (DCR).

Sign in to UniFeeds

Select Create. UniFeeds opens in a new window, now or the first time ChatGPT uses it. Sign in, pick your workspace, and click Allow.

Turn UniFeeds on in a chat

In a new chat, open + and turn on UniFeeds (under Developer mode if your account shows it). ChatGPT asks you to confirm before any change.

Other ways to set it up

Business, Enterprise, and Edu admins

Add UniFeeds once for your workspace. Each person still signs in with their own UniFeeds account.

Add UniFeeds

Open Workspace settings, then Apps, and select Create. Paste this URL, choose OAuth, and select Create.

MCP server URL
https://mcp.unifeeds.io/mcp

Test it, then publish

UniFeeds is saved as a draft. Try it in a new chat, then publish it. On Enterprise and Edu, the publish window lets you pick which actions and groups to allow.

Check it works

Start a new chat and ask:

Prompt
Use the UniFeeds whoami tool and tell me which workspace you're connected to and whether you can make changes.

ChatGPT should name your UniFeeds workspace and say whether it can make changes. If it picked the wrong workspace or can only read, reconnect and choose again. With an API key, use a read and write key made in the right workspace.

Manage the connection

Turn UniFeeds off in a chat's + menu. To remove it, open UniFeeds in ChatGPT Plugins and remove it from its settings.

To cut the app off from UniFeeds' side, open Connected apps on the API keys page and select Disconnect. Workspace members can disconnect their own apps; admins can disconnect any.

Troubleshooting

There's no Create MCP App option

Some accounts still need Developer mode. Open Settings, then Security and login (chatgpt.com/settings/security), turn on Developer mode, and try again. In a work workspace, ask your ChatGPT admin.

UniFeeds' tools don't show up

Open UniFeeds in ChatGPT Plugins, select Refresh, and start a new chat. ChatGPT doesn't pick up new tools on its own.

The sign-in window doesn't open

Allow pop-ups for chatgpt.com, check the URL matches the one above exactly, and try again.

ChatGPT won't schedule, publish, or delete posts

Your ChatGPT plan may only allow read actions. If it does allow them: Any workspace member can connect an AI app to read, but only workspace admins can let it make changes. If you're an admin, sign in again and tick the option to create, schedule, publish and delete posts.

Sign-in and workspace problems that happen in every app are on the Troubleshooting page. Still stuck? Email support@unifeeds.io.
